Sean Crosky is a partner in the firm's Finance practice and serves as Regional Managing Partner for Europe, as well as a member of the firm's Global Management Committee. In his role as Regional Managing Partner for Europe, Sean will be working with firm leadership to drive the continued growth and development of the European platform as an integral part of K&L Gates' global, fully integrated legal practice.
Alongside his management responsibilities, Sean is a highly experienced structured finance lawyer who advises trustees, loan agents, and corporate service providers on a broad range of financing transactions, including debt capital markets, structured products, receivables financings, restructurings, and Islamic finance.
His experience spans securitisations involving trade receivables, auto loans, residential and commercial mortgages, insurance contracts, loan portfolios, and transport assets, as well as asset-backed commercial paper programmes, conduit financings, and covered bonds. Sean has also advised extensively on public and private CLO transactions, CLO warehouse facilities, and origination structures.
Sean has significant experience advising on complex debt restructurings, defaults, asset portfolio liquidations, and related proceedings before the English courts, and is recognised for his role in advising trustees and corporate service providers in these situations. He has advised clients on transactions across the UK, continental Europe, the Middle East, the United States, Australia, and Asia.
