Trisha Klan is an associate in the firm's Commercial Disputes group who represents businesses in complex commercial litigation, including toxic tort matters, class actions, land use litigation, and other high-stakes disputes. She partners with clients to craft business-focused solutions that mitigate risk and support long-term objectives. While she is committed to achieving efficient and practical resolutions whenever possible, Trisha is also an effective advocate in contentious matters, bringing a determined and results-driven approach to litigation when her clients’ interests demand it.

Drawing on experience in state and federal courts across multiple jurisdictions, Trisha assists clients throughout every stage of the dispute lifecycle—from early case assessment and risk analysis through discovery, dispositive motions, trial preparation or arbitration, and resolution. Trisha's practice is grounded in thoughtful analysis and practical problem solving. She develops litigation strategies that align legal objectives with broader business considerations, with a focus on helping clients navigate disputes efficiently and effectively.

Trisha’s practice includes breach of contract disputes, toxic tort litigation, product liability actions, class actions, land use disputes, and other complex commercial matters. She represents both plaintiffs and defendants across a variety of industries, including the energy, construction, real estate, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Trisha’s experience spans all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigation and early case assessment through discovery, dispositive motion practice, mediation, trial, and appeal. Trisha is experienced in managing complex discovery in high-stakes commercial matters, including developing and executing large-scale discovery strategy, managing expert and fact witness development, building factual records that support broader litigation objectives, and advocating for clients in both written and oral submissions. She works closely with clients to identify key risks and opportunities early in a dispute to develop a pragmatic litigation strategy.

Drawing on experience before state and federal courts and arbitral forums, Trisha has served as a key member of trial and arbitration teams in complex and high-exposure matters. Her practice is grounded in thorough preparation, measured judgment, and persuasive advocacy, enabling her to effectively navigate challenging factual and legal issues while positioning clients for favorable outcomes at every stage of a dispute.

Beyond her litigation practice, Trisha is active in the legal community through her involvement in state and local bar associations and professional organizations. She also maintains a robust commitment to pro bono service and charitable initiatives.
