Vicki Wu is an associate and member of the Tax practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Vicki worked with law faculty at a major public research university on complex tax and constitutional law topics, including wealth taxation, deductions, the §965 transition tax, and questions of presidential immunity, and contributed to academic analysis of criminal law frameworks such as felony murder and accomplice liability. Vicki also served as a summer associate at a global professional services firm, preparing tax memoranda on cross‑border transactions and supporting structuring advice for private equity and corporate matters in mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. In government service, Vicki worked with the Office of the State Public Defender in Cedar Rapids, where she conducted legal research and drafted motions in criminal and juvenile matters and assisted with trial preparation and case investigation.
