Yuxuan (Royce) Wang is a counsel and member of the IP Procurement and Portfolio Management practice group. Royce has more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property matters spanning across the United States and China. His background includes work on patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio evaluation, licensing transactions, due diligence, and enforcement matters. He has advised clients in industries such as electronics, telecommunications, automotive, and consumer products, and has experience with freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, patent strategy development, and cross-border IP issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Royce served as an associate at an international law firm where he focused on US patent drafting and prosecution, patent evaluation, licensing, and intellectual property litigation across a range of technologies. Earlier in his career, Royce held roles as a partner at IP-focused and full-service law firms and as an in-house IP head for a multinational corporation, where he led patent and trademark strategies, managed enforcement and licensing activities, and developed internal IP policies.
