Zak joined the firm through K&L Gates' graduate program, rotating through the Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Finance, and Corporate practices, where he gained valuable exposure to matters for clients in various industries and sectors.
Zak graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with Honours. During his studies he represented his University in state, national and international legal competitions. Prior to joining the firm, Zak undertook an extended internship at a Pro-Bono Community Legal Centre, worked under a seasoned commercial litigator in a boutique firm and developed a foundational base of commercial experience in the banking & finance sectors.
