Hunter Thornton is an associate in the firm's Finance practice. He focuses on commercial lending, corporate finance, and private equity and mezzanine finance. Prior to joining the firm, Hunter served as an associate within the finance and restructuring practice group at a United States law firm headquartered in Tennessee. Through this role, he represented both lenders and borrowers, as well as private equity sponsors, with regard to finance originations, restructurings and workouts, mezzanine and bridge loans, and mergers and acquisitions across multiple varied industries. Additionally, as part of his restructuring practice, Hunter represented debtors, creditors, lenders, and trustees in all aspects of bankruptcy reorganizations, liquidations, and related adversary proceedings.
