Alex Virgo is a corporate and regulatory senior associate in the Melbourne corporate and transactional team, focusing on health care and life science industries. She advises clients on a range of health matters, including compliance with regulatory requirements, contracting, structuring and mergers and acquisitions.
Alex's clients include public and private health service providers, private health insurers, aged care and retirement living operators and managers and pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies.
During 2019, Alex worked for eight months on secondment at Australia's largest private health insurance provider, Medibank Private Limited. During her secondment, she advised on a range of regulatory and consumer law issues relevant to both the ahm and Medibank brands.
