April is an integral member of the firm’s Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions practice group, where she serves as an associate. With a robust background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and tax law, April is committed to delivering exceptional support and guidance to clients, offering innovative and pragmatic solutions to their legal needs.

Prior to transitioning into her role as an associate, April played a pivotal role as a senior paralegal, providing invaluable support to lawyers in navigating intricate corporate transactions. During her tenure as paralegal at a regional law firm in Portland, April demonstrated her proficiency by drafting a wide range of corporate documents for entity formations, dissolutions, mergers, and other transactions, while adeptly managing the complexities at the intersection of tax, corporate, and estate planning law.

Before transitioning into the legal field, April was a general manager of multiple foodservice establishments. This hands-on experience provided her with invaluable insights into the challenges of running a business, including managing staff, optimizing operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This background uniquely positions April to empathize with the obstacles her clients may encounter in their own ventures. April’s multifaceted experience positions her to anticipate and address the diverse needs of clients with precision and efficiency.

In addition to April’s extensive experience in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, she possesses expertise in federal tax law, holding a Federal Tax Law Certificate from Lewis & Clark Law School. This qualification equips April with the insight and proficiency necessary to navigate the complexities of tax implications within corporate transactions with precision and thoroughness. Furthermore, during her time at Lewis & Clark Law School, April served as the Notes & Comments Editor at the esteemed Lewis & Clark Law Review. These experiences underscore April's commitment to excellence and her dedication to staying at the forefront of legal knowledge and innovation.
