Carri L. Preble

Carri Preble is a special projects lawyer in the firm's Real Estate practice. She focuses on commercial real estate leasing, development, and telecommunications. Carri has more than 20 years of experience drafting and negotiating a high volume of commercial retail, restaurant and office building leases, subleases, amendments, declarations, reciprocal easements and restrictions, assignments, bills of sale, and renewal and termination agreements for national restaurant chains, national banks, medical and life science companies, wireless carriers and tower developers and other businesses. 

Carri is also experienced with all levels of due diligence review related to leases, mergers and acquisitions, and sale or acquisition transactions, including examining title and survey, curing title defects and reviewing environmental assessments. Carri has seventeen years of experience in the wireless industry and has provided experienced legal counsel to regional and national developers and wireless carriers throughout all phases of tower and cell site development, including acquisitions and sales of larger tower portfolios. She has assisted landlords, national wireless carriers, and tower owners manage asset portfolios, administer, enforce and amend existing infrastructure agreements, and resolve landlord and tenant disputes relative to construction and access issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Carri served as special counsel at a regional law firm in the United States and as an associate attorney at a small regional firm in the Northeast where she focused on providing similar services to national and regional wireless service providers, national and regional tower developers, and private landlords.

Member of the Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women Association, International Council for Shopping Centers and the Carolinas Wireless Association.
