Prior to joining the firm, Carri served as special counsel at a regional law firm in the United States. There she drafted and negotiated a high volume of commercial retail and office building leases, subleases, amendments, and renewal and termination agreements for clients, including a national restaurant chain and a life science company. Reviewed and negotiated covenants, easements and restrictions agreements for shopping centers and retail developments. Drafted and negotiated entitlement documents for a national wireless infrastructure owner. worked as a member at an appellate advocacy clinic. While there, she represented client in her §1983 appeal to the Ninth Circuit, researched applicable Eighth Amendment case law and wrote brief with co-member, and regularly met with client to discuss case progression. She also argued in front of the Ninth Circuit.
