Chloe Duan is a partner in the firm’s Shanghai office. She is a dual NY/PRC qualified lawyer with more than 12 years of experience gained at both foreign and PRC firms in Shanghai.
Her practice focuses on investment management, PE/VC investment, and M&A transactions. Over the past years, she has advised a number of well-known family office, endowment fund, and financial institutions on their cross-border investment (e.g., QFII, QDLP, CIBM, Stock Connect, Bond Connect, and Mutual Recognition of Funds), onshore and offshore fund formation, and other general PRC regulatory issues. She has been involved in the legal research of, and drafting and advising on, legislation and supervision in the asset management and finance sectors, and maintains good relationships with regulatory authorities, such as CSRC, SAFE, and stock exchanges.
Prior to joining the firm, Chloe worked in both PRC and foreign law firms for more than 8 years.
