Christina Tohme

Christina Tohme is a lawyer in the firm's Real Estate practice. She has experience in a variety of property related matters, and has acted for some of Australia's leading landlords and tenants, Real Estate Investment Trusts, large property development companies, and government entities.

Christina has worked closely with clients in expanding their leasing portfolio's across multiple jurisdictions in Australia. In particular, she has assisted in drafting, negotiating and advising clients in relation to their commercial, industrial and retail leasing assets. She also has experience in large scale capital transactions, mixed-use developments, residential property development work and preparing high level due diligence reports for landlords and lenders.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Christina worked as a lawyer in the real estate group at two of Australia's leading, independent Australian commercial law firms in Sydney.Christina was previously secondeed to the Western Sydney Community Legal Centre and Community Legal Centres Australia where she provided legal and non-legal services to people experiencing discrimination and disadvantage across Australia.
