Corporate Senior Paralegal

The firm represents leading multinational corporations, growth and middle-market companies, capital markets participants and entrepreneurs in every major industry group as well as public sector entities, educational institutions, philanthropic organizations and individuals. 

Our Hong Kong office is now seeking a Senior Paralegal. This role will support cross-border capital market transactions and ensure smooth deal execution.  

Essential Duties:

  • Provide legal and administrative support across ECM transactions, with a focus on Hong Kong IPOs
  • Draft, format and review legal documents
  • Coordinate the preparation, submission, and tracking of listing documents and other regulatory filings with relevant authorities
  • Support the due diligence processes and prepare related documents
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research on relevant rules, regulations, and market practices
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, other third parties and internal teams 
  • Maintain organized data rooms, transaction databases, timelines, and closing checklists

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder, majoring in law, legal studies, business or related fields is preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal in a well-recognized law firm; ECM/IPO experience is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Strong document-management skills, attention to detail and a responsible, client-centric mindset
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with different stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
