Dale A. Bellitto

Dale Bellitto is an associate and a member of the Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice. Dale’s current practice focuses on defending employers in class actions and representing employers through all phases of litigation–from responding to the initial pleading through final resolution, whether that be at mediation, arbitration, trial, or on appeal. Dale is dedicated to defending employers against wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, misclassification, and wage and hour causes of action in both state and federal court. In addition to representing clients in employment-related litigation, Dale provides counseling regarding various employment practices and personnel matters–including, but not limited to, severance agreements, Family and Medical Leave Act leave, California Family Rights Act leave, reductions in force, and reasonable accommodations. Dale appreciates that the employment law landscape is everchanging and is committed to successfully navigating and synthesizing newly enacted statutes and regulations impacting employers of all sizes.

Prior to joining the firm, Dale was an associate at an international law firm where she focused her practice on employment claims and disputes. In this role, Dale drafted position statements in response to EEOC and California Civil Rights Department complaints, addressing the employee and independent contractor distinction and constructive discharge issues, and honed her motion practice skills.

Dale also has a wealth of experience defending attorneys and adjudicators against professional liability claims.
