Advised a client in relation to its handling of a matter involving a multi-million dollar demand brought against it by two individuals, arising as a result of the alleged misclassification of employees as contractors, which included assisting to resolve the claim for a fraction of the amount originally claimed.
Provided support in advising a Victorian government department in a discrimination claim in the Federal Court brought by a former teacher.
Advised the Australian Football League (AFL) in a variety of matters, including in relation to a proposed Enterpise Agreement for employees at Marvel Stadium.
Advised the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) in relation to a variety of cases relating to general protections, unfair dismissal and discrimination claims brought against Victoria public hospitals by both patients and employees.
Advised various clients in relation to employment, industrial relations, workplace health and safety and migration laws in responding to the dynamic working conditions imposed by COVID-19 public health directions.
