Prior to joining the firm, Gemma was a postdoctoral research fellow and graduate researcher at Harvard University. Through this role, Gemma managed two independent, long-term research projects that resulted in two first author scientific publications. In addition, she drafted research manuscripts, scientific reviews, a grant application, and more. Gemma also evaluated scientific literature for appropriate study design, sound logic, and evidence behind claims; analyzed computational and experimental data; and performed other responsibilities.
