Henry Kim is a partner and a member of the firm’s Energy, Infrastructure, and Resources practice and International Arbitration practice group. His work focuses primarily on complex, cross-border disputes and transactions involving commodities trading, shipping, and energy and infrastructure projects, including gas-to-power developments, LNG cargo sales, terminal and storage infrastructure, and oil and gas operations.
Henry has extensive experience handling international arbitration proceedings under major institutional rules, including SIAC, ICC, LCIA, HKIAC, DIAC, KLRCA, LMAA, SCMA, GAFTA, and FOSFA. He regularly acts for clients in high-value, multijurisdictional disputes involving EPC contracts, LNG offtake and shipping arrangements, and project development agreements.
In the construction and infrastructure sector, Henry advises on the full project lifecycle, from contract negotiation and risk allocation to regulatory compliance and dispute resolution. He represents clients across a range of domestic and international projects, including power plants, LNG terminals, pipelines, and industrial facilities, and is experienced in managing technically and legally complex claims under both common and civil law frameworks. Henry has substantial experience in LNG sales arrangements covering the entire cargo value chain.
