J. Morgan Dixon

Morgan Dixon is admitted to practice in Louisiana. He is not currently admitted in Illinois.

Morgan Dixon is an associate in the firm's IP Litigation practice group. Morgan’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, licensing agreements, and regulatory compliance involving artificial intelligence (AI) and biometric data processing. 

Since joining the firm, Morgan has represented parties sitting on both sides of the “V” in patent disputes involving mobile technologies, medical devices, VR gaming, and robotics. Morgan also is regularly engaged on matters involving complex emerging issues in data management, transfer, and protection of client intellectual property across industries.

Prior to joining the firm, Morgan clerked for US Magistrate Judge Roy S. Payne for the Eastern District of Texas, Mashall Division, whose docket consists primarily of patent and trademark related disputes, and before that for US Judge Dee D. Drell for the Western District of Louisiana. Morgan is a registered patent lawyer with a master’s degree in biomedical engineering.
