K&L Gates Advises Carousel Capital on Recapitalization of CraneWorks
Global law firm K&L Gates LLP represented Carousel Capital Partners, a private investment firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the recapitalization of CraneWorks / RentalWorks (“CraneWorks”), a Birmingham, Alabama, headquartered provider of operated crane services, crane rental services, and other related equipment rental solutions.
The new partnership with CraneWorks provides the company with capital and strategic support to expand its fleet, deepen its service offerings, and reinforce the CraneWorks culture of quality and safety. It also continues Carousel Capital’s longstanding focus on partnering with founder-led businesses in the Southeastern United States.
Jason Schmidly, Managing Partner of Carousel, commented: “K&L Gates was a fantastic partner throughout this process. Their team brought sharp insight and steady guidance that helped us work through the details and get the deal done right. We made some important commitments to the CraneWorks owners, and with the support of the K&L Gates team, we were able to deliver on every one of them. We’re excited about what’s ahead for CraneWorks, and grateful for the support that helped make it happen.”
