K&L Gates Advises TAE Aerospace on Acquisition by ASDAM

Brisbane – Global law firm K&L Gates has advised TAE Aerospace, a global aerospace company, in connection with its acquisition by Australian defence manufacturer ASDAM.

This major transaction in the Australian defence sector saw ASDAM acquire all of the shares in TAE Aerospace. The acquisition is the latest in a string of strategic acquisitions by ASDAM, which is involved in engineering, advanced manufacturing and sustainment across the defence, aerospace and industrial markets.

TAE Aerospace provides aerospace engineering, manufacturing, turbine engine and component MRO products and services across the Asia Pacific and North and South America.

The K&L Gates team on the matter, Brisbane partner Phil Vickery and special counsel Lea Fua, provided legal advice on the transaction, including drafting of sale and completion documents and the completion of sale.
