K&L Gates Bolsters Asia Practice with New Corporate Partner in Taipei

Taipei - Global law firm K&L Gates welcomes Stephen Tan as a corporate and transactional partner in the Taipei office. He joins K&L Gates from Baker & McKenzie, where he was a partner.

Focusing in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, and trade regulatory matters, Tan has more than two decades of experience advising on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, trade, and supply chain- and technology-related commercial transactions. He is a member of both the New York and the District of Columbia bars.

With Tan’s addition, K&L Gates has 14 lawyers — including nine partners — in Taipei.
