The 2017 edition of “For the Public Good” reflects upon the critical need to support the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people among us. The stories spotlight our efforts to provide a voice for these individuals while strengthening our communities around the globe. These efforts take many forms: providing guidance to young people who face adversity; supporting the homeless; protecting victims of online abuse, human trafficking, and discrimination; and otherwise working to improve the lives of those who face hardship with little access to legal services.
