Katie McHenry is a counsel in the firm's Real Estate practice. She is a seasoned transactional lawyer with over 24 years of comprehensive experience in commercial real estate development and general business matters. Katie has served as lead counsel to prominent shopping center owners and tenants, commercial and residential developers, property management and real estate companies, technology firms, and lending institutions. She has significant experience in all aspects of real property planning and development, including multi-family development, secured financing, and real estate acquisitions and dispositions (individual properties as well as large portfolio acquisitions, 1031 exchanges, and ownership by tenancies-in-common).
Katie has particular experience in leasing matters, such as retail (including national chains and “big box” tenants), medical and standard office buildings, and industrial projects. She also handles business entity structuring of real property ownership and investment vehicles, limited liability companies, joint ventures, and partnerships.
