Leisa Nolan

Leisa is a senior associate in the firm's Corporate practice group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate reorganisation and structuring and governance matters. She is a qualified lawyer in both Australia and Canada and has experience acting for clients in a range of industries including private equity, tourism, retail and consumer markets, technology, financial services, construction, aeronautical and mining. 

Leisa is experienced at handling all aspects of complex private M&A transactions, including the negotiation and drafting of purchase and sale agreements, coordinating and overseeing due diligence, and drafting key documents such as shareholders’ agreements, ancillary transaction documents, and corporate and closing documents.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Leisa practised as an Associate in the Business Law Group at one of Canada's largest national law firms, where she advised clients on complex M&A, corporate finance, corporate reorganisation and structuring and governance matters. Before moving to Canada in 2015, Leisa practised as a Solicitor at a mid-tier law firm based in Brisbane, Australia.
