Louise Bond

Louise Bond is a senior associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group, with extensive experience of complex international arbitrations and of litigation in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and UK Supreme Court. 

Louise works on a broad range of commercial disputes across a variety of industries, usually with an international dimension. She has advised clients in the aviation, sport and gambling, commodities, fine arts, logistics, pharmaceutical, IT and telecommunications, construction, and energy and infrastructure sectors. 

Louise also advises corporate clients on disputes arising out of share purchase agreements, joint-venture agreements, shareholder agreements, and similar arrangements.

With this breadth of experience, Louise brings an open-minded perspective and adaptable approach to each case. While she has extensive experience of taking cases all the way to hearings, Louise also successfully advises clients on mitigating risk and avoiding proceedings.

Louise also has a keen interest in diversity, inclusion, and equality initiatives. She is a member of the Opportunity and Inclusion Committee in London and the firm’s Disability Inclusion Task Force. She also regularly engages in pro-bono work, including coordinating the firm’s long-standing support of the South West London Law Centre’s legal advice clinic.

Louise obtained a first-class history degree from the University of York before converting to law. Prior to joining the firm, she spent several years as a paralegal at international and London law firms. 

Louise completed her training contract with the firm in the disputes, corporate, real estate, and asset and corporate finance groups, gaining valuable experience in key transactional areas to complement her Commercial Disputes practice.
