Luke Kessel is an associate in the firm's Charlotte office. He is a member of the Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions practice group. Luke focuses his practice on general corporate law matters across a wide range of industries, including financial and business services, technology, retail, and transportation. Luke also assists clients in emerging growth and venture capital transactions, private equity matters, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining the firm, Luke served as a summer law clerk for the Tennessee Attorney General's Office. Through this role, Luke drafted several memoranda for civil and criminal cases in the Law Enforcement and Special Prosecutions division and assisted with appellate hearings in state and federal court involving the death penalty and the opioid crisis. Luke also served as a summer associate in the firm's Charlotte office.
