Marc Meng

Marc Meng’s practice focuses on criminal investigations, prosecutions, and litigations. He started his legal career as a prosecutor in 1991 and was in the prosecutor’s office at various district courts and high courts until he retired in 2021.  

During his term as a prosecutor, he led on the investigations and prosecutions of several well-known securities fraud, banking fraud, insider trading, trade secret misappropriation, intellectual property infringement, and white collar criminal investigations.

Since his retirement, he has been serving on the audit committee of a Taiwan Stock Exchange-listed company in the semiconductor industry and assisting the company in improving its corporate governance and intellectual property protection.  

Marc has extensive experience as a prosecutor in various courts in Taiwan beginning in 1991. Most recently he was a senior prosecutor in the prosecutor’s office in the Taipei District Court, a position he held for five years. Prior to that, he was the head prosecutor in the prosecutor’s office in the Taipei District Court and Miaoli District Court, and a prosecutor in the prosecutor’s offices in the Taichung High Court, Hsinchu District Court, New Taipei City District Court, and Taipei District Court.

Marc is currently an independent director of Phoenix Silicon International Corporation (Taiwan Stock Exchange-listed) where is he a member of the Compensation and the Audit committees.
