Megan Wemmer is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland. She is not currently admitted in Oregon.

Megan Wemmer is an associate and a member of the Real Estate practice where she represents clients in a broad range of complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing matters. Her practice spans a wide spectrum of asset classes and deal structures, with a particular focus on real estate finance and structured transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Megan gained extensive experience working in private practice where she advised real estate developers, investors, and institutional clients in the acquisition, redevelopment, financing, and sale of commercial real estate assets. She has substantial experience representing financial institutions, investment banks, and other capital markets participants in their roles as issuers, underwriters, and mortgage loan sellers in both public and private offerings of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and other structured finance products.

Megan has worked on a wide array of financing transactions, including bridge loan financing, tax credit transactions, healthcare facility financings, multifamily portfolio deals, and affordable housing transactions. She also regularly advises on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae financings, as well as the structuring of complex real estate joint ventures and corporate entities. She brings a practical, business-minded approach to her work and is committed to helping clients achieve their strategic objectives in an increasingly dynamic real estate market.
