Melanie Fridgant

Melanie Fridgant is an associate and a member of the Maritime and Offshore Energy practice. Her practice focuses on servicing the maritime and energy industries. Melanie negotiates day-to-day commercial, and EPC agreements for onshore and offshore infrastructure, renewable energy, and industrial construction projects. Melanie also advises clients on maritime transactions, and regulatory compliance with the Jones Act ownership and coastwise trade regulations, the Federal Maritime Commission, and international trade matters including export control and sanctions. 

Melanie was a legal intern at the firm in 2017. Prior to rejoining the firm, Melanie was an associate in the maritime litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution practice group of a national-based law firm where she worked on transactional matters, and commercial disputes in the energy and construction sectors, and represented an internationally based energy services company in arbitration proceedings.
