Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as a judicial extern for Pennsylvania Judge Lisa Pupo Lenihan. While there, he researched and drafted a bench memo on whether a punitive damages claim is necessary to sustain a claim of negligent entrustment when an employer admits to agency with the employee. He also researched and drafted a memo on whether “danger to the community” encompasses pecuniary harm, within the context of the bail reform act of 1984
