The Nonprofit Law Institute is an annual event "for attorneys who want to learn about serving nonprofits, learn from leaders from the nonprofit legal field, and share their interests and experiences in working with community organizations." This year's event features the new Washington Nonprofit Corporation Act, which will go into effect 1 January 2022. Andrea Templeton will speak on aspects of the new law affecting membership organizations. Keynote speaker will be Andrea Caupain, CEO of Byrd Barr Place, who will talk about the legal field from a race and equity perspective.
