Prior to joining the firm, Ronald served as a shareholder at a U.S.-based law firm in Pittsburgh, where he focused his practice on tax matters, including corporate, partnership, and business tax planning; as well as federal, state, and local tax controversies.
Ronald has experience involving various federal, state, and international tax issues with relation to corporate and partnership acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and restructurings. He has handled federal and state tax controversies at the audit and appeal stages. In addition, Ronald has advised clients on a wide range of tax areas, including subchapters C, S, and K; oil and gas syndications and offerings; consolidated returns; and state tax planning.
