Sara T. Hall

Sara Hall is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia. She is not currently admitted in North Carolina.

Sara Hall is an associate in the firm’s White Collar Defense and Investigations practice group. Her work focuses on government investigations and enforcement, congressional investigations, internal investigations, white-collar defense, and complex commercial litigation.

Sara has great experience advising individuals and corporations before both state and federal government entities, including the United States Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, state attorneys general offices, and United States Congress. Through her work, Sara assisted clients through various stages of government investigations, subpoena responses, witness interview and testimony preparation, and internal investigations. 

She has also represented clients in commercial litigation cases in state and federal courts, including in the Southern District of New York. Her experience includes drafting pleadings, responding to and submitting discovery requests, and dispositive motion practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Sara served as a law clerk with the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, where she gained experience in legislative and related oversight matters by conducting legal research and drafting a range of Committee memoranda. Sara also has experience across the federal clemency process, having interned with the Office of the Pardon Attorney in the United States Department of Justice.
