Scott M. Launius

Scott Launius is an associate and a member of the firm's Real Estate practice. His practice focuses on all aspects of real estate transactions, negotiating and drafting transaction documents (including purchase and sale, due diligence, and financing) and advising clients on a broad scope of real estate matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Scott was an associate at a Seattle-based law firm where he focused his practice on real estate transactions and construction law, including purchase and sale, commercial leasing (representing landlords and tenants in retail, office, and industrial leases), development of master-planned communities, borrower-side finance, and title review. 

While in law school, Scott externed with Judge John C. Coughenour at the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Scott worked in medical research at the University of Michigan Medical School, where his work focused on chronic kidney disease and biorepository development and management.
