Sean M. Wood

Sean Wood is an associate in the firm’s Construction and Infrastructure practice. He represents project owners, developers, contractors, and designers on transactional matters across a broad range of industries, including the manufacturing, industrial, and renewable energy industries as well as with multifamily, single-family, and commercial real estate development. Sean has experience drafting contracts for various project delivery methods, including traditional, design-build and engineering-procurement-construction (EPC) delivery methods and has drafted construction and design contracts using major industry forms, including AIA, DBIA, and EJCDC, as well as bespoke contracts. 

Sean also represents clients on commercial real estate transactions throughout the US, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing of office, residential, retail, and industrial real property. His real estate practice involves drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and subleases, as well as performing due diligence review and advising clients throughout all stages of the real estate transaction. 

Prior to joining the firm, Sean served as legal vice president of a real estate development company based in Nashville. 
 

Sean has also served as an associate with a national firm based in Nashville, where he assisted publicly traded companies with securities offerings and compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission, New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, and state securities laws and regulations.
