Stephanie V. Trice

Stephanie Trice is a special projects lawyer and a member of the IP Procurement and Portfolio Management practice group. Stephanie’s practice focuses on trademarks, copyrights, domain names, and strategic brand management and protection. She has a broad range of experience in all areas of trademark law, from clearance to prosecution, and policing to enforcement. Stephanie also provides strategic management of trademark and copyright portfolios for companies in a variety of industries, including, but not limited to retail services, consumer products, and technology. 

In addition to counseling, Stephanie has experience litigating trademark and copyright cases in federal court, as well as handling opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie served as an associate attorney and managing associate for a legal services group focused on patent and trademark cases. Through this role she represented applicants and registrants in USPTO trademark, Trademark Trial and Appeals Board, and US Copyright Office matters. Stephanie also provided legal opinions regarding the availability of trademarks and patentability of inventions; drafted and filed trademark and copyright applications; responded to office actions; initiated and defended TTAB oppositions and cancellations; initiated and defended UDRP complaints; and maintained and enforced IP portfolios.
