Our global economy has never produced as much food as it generates today. This requires an immense amount of land, water, energy, and packaging materials, and at end use, produces a huge amount of carbon and waste.

On this episode, we talk with Rhode Island’s Director of Food Strategy Julie Stelmaszyk to hear what the State of Rhode Island is doing to sustainably feed its residents, manage the carbon emissions attributable to food sourcing, minimize waste, and address environmental food injustice.
