Sydney Duncan is a United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) registered patent lawyer. She concentrates her practice in patent prosecution and portfolio management.
Sydney has experience in drafting and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications, involving a variety of technologies such as medical devices and a variety of chemical and material-based technologies including food and nutrition, pharmaceuticals, batteries, display technologies, and environmental-related technologies. Sydney has experience with the patent portfolio management of large global corporations to small start-up companies from the early developmental invention stage of patents to application preparation and examination and to patent grant. She also has extensive experience in patent post grant proceedings such as ex parte reexaminations.
Sydney also has experience on various other patent related issues including freedom-to-operate work focusing on new product development and competitor portfolio analysis.
