Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Sydney served as a summer associate in the Newark office where she performed research and prepared legal memoranda regarding a variety of legal issues, including insurance recovery, environmental law, and products liability. Sydney returned to the firm during her final year of law school as a law clerk, where she assisted with insurance recovery, specifically health care payor-provider disputes.
Sydney graduated in the top 2 percent and with the fifth highest GPA in her law school class, earning her magna cum laude distinction and enrollment in the Order of the Coif.
During law school, Sydney interned with a New Jersey Superior Court judge and served as a law clerk to a New Jersey law firm where she worked on a wide variety of civil litigation matters, ranging from family law to property-related disputes.
At Seton Hall University School of Law, Sydney was the President of the First Generation Law Students Association, a member of the FINRA Investor Advocacy Clinic, and a pro bono student advocate for the District of New Jersey Settlement Conference Practicum. Sydney also served as a Comments Editor for the Seton Hall Law Review.
Prior to law school, Sydney was a legal secretary for a solo practitioner, where she worked on residential real estate transactions and estate planning matters.
