In this webinar, partners from across various of our practices held a discussion about the Section 899 retaliatory tax proposal pending in the budget reconciliation legislation.
In addition to discussing the legislative posture and key differences between the House and Senate versions, they considered the types of income, companies, and transactions that would be affected if the measure is enacted and the impact these changes could have on foreign investment and operations in the United States, debt and equity markets, and interest rates.
