Served as lead outside counsel for a global video hosting service’s response to a subpoena issued by the House Judiciary Committee to leading digital platforms that sought information on foreign regulators’ content moderation and takedown requests and their effects, if any, on US users’ free expression.

Represented state departments of family services, education, and human services in inquiries related to federal program integrity from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee; House Energy and Commerce Committee; House Education and Workforce Committee; Senate Judiciary Committee; and Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.

Represented the governor of a US state in responding to a document request and hearing witness invitation from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Served as lead counsel to a state government official and department in an investigation by the House Education and Workforce Committee regarding fraudulent activity in federal pandemic food aid programs administered by the US Department of Agriculture.

Represented the office of a state court administrator in an inquiry from the House Judiciary Committee related to prohibitions on use of court data for immigration enforcement.

Represented a state governor’s office in inquiries by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and the House Energy and Commerce Committee related to federal healthcare programs and immigration policy.

Represented a large public university in the US Pacific Northwest in an inquiry from Senate and House committees regarding foreign research collaborations and funding.

Represented a major donor-advised fund philanthropic organization in Congressional investigations risk planning, monitoring, and response.

Represented an independent oil and gas company in an inquiry from the House Financial Services Committee related to a Venezuela military operation and energy interests.

Represented a senior foreign service officer in a deposition and public testimony in the House impeachment proceedings conducted jointly by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, House Oversight and Reform Committee, and House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Represented one of the world’s largest in-flight food catering companies in an investigation by the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis into the company’s receipt and use of Payroll Support Program funding.

Advised a publicly traded manufacturing company regarding a House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis inquiry into public companies receiving Paycheck Protection Program loans.

Represented a major engineering and consulting firm in an investigation by the House Homeland Security Committee into diversity and inclusion practices in government contracting.

Represented an online platform in inquiries before the House Select Committee regarding the 6 January 2021 US Capitol Attack.

Represented a US university in a Congressional investigation by the House Oversight Committee into disclosure of foreign gifts and contracts.
