Breyana Hammond is admitted to practice in Maryland. She is not currently admitted in Washington, DC.
Breyana Hammond is an associate in the firm’s International Trade, Investment Controls, and National Security practice group. She advises clients on a wide range of international trade and regulatory compliance matters, including export controls, economic sanctions, and national security matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Breyana served as senior counsel at an aerospace and defense company working closely with its international trade compliance and human resources departments to provide counsel on export controls, employment regulations, policy development, and organizational risk. While in-house, Breyana directed internal investigations, conducted internal assessments regarding regulatory exposure, and oversaw corrective action development and implementation. Prior to her role as senior counsel, Breyana was an export compliance manager responsible for the day-to-day international trade compliance of multiple manufacturing operations. Breyana helped expand and modernize the businesses export compliance program and now brings that expertise to her clients navigating in the modern regulatory environment.
