Calia was previously a legal intern at a charity organization based in the United Kingdom where she researched case law on New York consent laws and drafted materials summarizing cases. She also aided in the facilitation of nonprofit governance procedures. Calia was also a summer associate at the firm, where she drafted legal documents for clients, including customer contracts and ancillary documents for deals on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and debt finance. Calia researched legal and regulatory frameworks governing hospital mergers and healthcare compliance.
