Carol began her legal career as a paralegal in Washington, DC, working on high-stakes disputes involving international litigation and investment treaty arbitration. These experiences informed her interest in the intersection of business, law, and global markets.
During law school, Carol interned as a law clerk at the US Department of Commerce's Commercial Law Development Program. In addition, she served as a student director of the University of Chicago Law School’s corporate law clinic, where she worked with Fortune 500 and startup companies on projects spanning data privacy regulation, whistleblower policies, FCPA compliance, and M&A trends.
