Darrell E. White, II

Darrell White II is an associate in the firm’s Healthcare and FDA practice group. He advises hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, federally qualified health centers, STD clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare clients on federal and state regulatory, compliance, enforcement, and transactional matters.

His practice includes pharmacy law, the 340B Drug Pricing Program, HIPAA privacy and security, data breach response, and healthcare fraud and abuse. Darrell assists with 340B contract pharmacy arrangements, HRSA audit preparation, policy and procedure development, covered entity eligibility, manufacturer disputes, and related regulatory issues. He also evaluates business arrangements under the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), the Stark Law, the Civil Monetary Penalties Law (CMP)/Beneficiary Inducement provision, and state healthcare laws.

Prior to joining the firm, Darrell served as a senior attorney with the National Institutes of Health, where he worked with client institutes on Administrative Procedure Act litigation strategy, regulatory policy solutions, and alternative dispute resolution. He also worked at an international law firm, where he represented clients before federal courts and federal agencies in Administrative Procedure Act litigation against the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), challenging reductions in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement for hospital and health plan clients. Darrell clerked for the Honorable Benita Y. Pearson of the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
