Ted Day is admitted to practice in Illinois. He is not currently admitted in Massachusetts.
Ted Day is a trial and appellate litigator who positions clients to make critical decisions during inflection points in the dispute process. A former judicial law clerk, Ted pairs his knowledge of judges’ processes behind the bench with his stand-up experience in front of it to guide clients through every stage of litigation. Whether the goal is a negotiated resolution or going the distance, Ted approaches every challenge with success at trial or arbitration in mind.
Ted’s practice is broad, having represented public and private companies, as well as individuals, across multiple industries and sectors. Previous representations include issues of administrative law, class action defense, commercial disputes, intellectual property litigation, labor and employment disputes, securities litigation, and torts. Ted has served on multiple winning trial teams, first chaired depositions and witnesses at trial, argued and won pretrial and dispositive motions, drafted numerous winning briefs, and led successful mediations.
In addition to supporting active litigation, Ted advises clients on prelitigation and non-adverse matters. He counsels companies with navigating business decisions and expansion while limiting litigation risk and liability exposure.
