Emeline gained experience as a clinic volunteer for a family justice clinic, where she facilitated divorce mediation and negotiation with lawyer assistance, assisted clients with their forms and filings, mediated divorce agreements, participated in clinic case rounds, and provided support and assistance to other similar cases.
Additionally, Emeline served at another justice clinic where she revised petitions for vacatur for human trafficking clients, cross-referenced and cited documents for vacatur petitions, provided trauma-informed communication with clients, drafted declarations for domestic violence restraining orders, and collaborated with a partner for all tasks during the clinic.
