Francesca Leonelli

Francesca is a senior associate in the firm's Real Estate practice and a dual-qualified attorney licensed to practice in Italy and California. Her practice focuses on cross-border and domestic commercial real estate and corporate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings (real estate and asset-based), development projects, leasing, and strategic restructurings.

Francesca represents commercial property owners, investors, developers, and real estate investment funds in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of real property, construction projects, financings, property development, and leases. Her experience spans industrial, retail, office, hospitality, and mixed-use projects across a range of industries, including renewable energy, fashion and luxury goods, and hospitality.

In addition to her real estate practice, Francesca advises clients on corporate matters supporting investment and growth, including M&A-related carve-outs and divestitures, venture financings (including Series A equity rounds), intra-group reorganizations, and commercial financings (including equipment financings to support capital expenditures).

Before joining the firm, Francesca practiced at major law firms in California, with experience spanning both Southern California (Los Angeles) and Northern California (Sacramento), advising on a broad range of commercial real estate and corporate matters.
