Matthew Proctor

Matthew Proctor is a senior associate in the firm's Corporate practice. He has over six years' experience advising clients on high-value mergers and acquisition (M&A) transactions, complex contract negotiations, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Matthew's experience has seen him act on matters including renewable energy developments, cross-border acquisitions and divestments, project structuring, and governance frameworks for clients in a variety of sectors.

Prior to joining the firm, Matthew was in a senior commercial role for a university, providing advice in the areas of risk and insurance. He also spent a number of years advising the university in the role of legal counsel, general and research. Before that, Matthew was an associate in the corporate team at  international commercial law firm, which included a six-month secondment to a large provider of aviation services.
