Meriem Debbih is an associate and a member of the Technology Transactions and Sourcing practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Meriem served as an extern to the Honorable Judge Glasgow at the Washington Court of Appeals, Division II, where she advanced stakeholder outreach for the Gender and Justice Commission and prepared substantive legal research and drafting. She also worked at intellectual property law firms and technology organizations, advising companies from startups to Fortune 100 companies on patent portfolio strategy, preparing and prosecuting US and PCT applications before the US Patent and Trademark Office and the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization, and conducting freedom‑to‑operate and infringement assessments, IP audits, licensing support, and practical design‑around analyses. Meriem was previously a registered patent agent where she collaborated with inventors to identify protectable innovations and implement timely, cost‑effective filing strategies across technologies, including blockchain, AI, networking, autonomous systems, virtualization, data privacy (GDPR), Internet of Things, EV charging, cloud computing, and computer graphics and imaging.
