Michael Sanko is an associate and member of the IP Procurement and Portfolio Management practice group. Michael is a USPTO-registered patent lawyer with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications involving a diverse range of technologies—including mechanical, manufacturing, electrical hardware, software, and artificial intelligence—for clients in the automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, consumer goods, food and beverage, and medical device sectors. In addition to assisting clients with their domestic and international patent portfolios, Michael has experience in freedom-to-operate and noninfringement analyses, due diligence investigations, whitespace analyses of technology landscapes, pre-litigation investigations, post-grant, and IP litigation.
